I am all for using as many free apps and programs as you can but sometimes you have to put a little money down and pay for a few of these. I have tried out a lot of apps and signed up to a lot of programs, some of them have been great but just not great enough to warrant the costs but there are a few that I spend money on and recommend you do too if you are a social media manager.
One of the challenges when it comes to blogging is figuring out what to write about. It is one of the main reasons people avoid blogging or get writers block, they just don’t know what to write about. I have a few tips and ideas of how I find content to write about.
It took me a while to start playing around with plugins. When I started my wordpress blog I had no idea what html, code or even a trackback meant! I just wrote, added a picture (normally the wrong size) and pressed publish. That was back when blogging was new and it was easier to gain a following. Now as bloggers we have to work hard at constantly improving our blogs.
Everyone doubts themselves, it is a normal human reaction to new situations or when you must make big decisions. Everyone has regrets, moments of indecision and doubt. The challenge is to not let this self-doubt hold you back from moving forward and achieving.
Last year I visited the Google offices in Joburg and they were incredibly awesome. I think one of the reasons I hated working in a corporate environment was the boring office spaces we were in. Even when we moved to new buildings with new furniture, it was all so bland and there was little room for creativity.
